Recommended August 23, 2010 Pamela Mullins (Raleigh, NC) I'm a professional photographer & used these cards at a wedding and in subsequent professional shoots. Cards always work great. I was worried that I would get them in time for the wedding, but was delighted to get them within a week of ordering them. Excellent & recommended.
You Can Always Trust a (Real) SanDisk June 10, 2010 Rhythm N' Blue (Sydney/Saigon/Irvine/Waikiki) SanDisk makes some of the best flash memory products, and their Extreme series is the top of the line (depending on the era - there were Extreme versions 1-4, and the newest is just called Extreme).
I got this particular CF card in 2007, when they were relatively still expensive (anyone remembers what the Extreme II CF's cost for just 1GB back in like around 2003? The answer = ridiculous!). But back then they were the fastest available, and unless you specifically need the UDMA types for recording video or really fast spurts for sports photography, these cards are more than capable.
The title stated "(Real)" because nowadays there are a few counterfeit SanDisk memory cards out there, so be careful who you're buying from - just stick to Amazon itself and you'll be fine.
High-speed performance February 27, 2010 Aaron M. Ricker (Bossier City, LA) With a past disk I got used to only being able to take about four shots, my camera (Sony a350) would then process them for about a second or two, and then be able to take about four more, proceeding in the same manner. Kind of a dissapointment.
Man, I was at a martial arts exhibition and I was able to snap 50+ (and I'm not exagerating) successive shots with no problem. Quite remarkable, which is why I'm leaving this post.
This card is well worth the investment.
I know I only gave it four stars, but it'd have to be able to provide me lunch as well to make five... I'm kind of particular.
Very fast and reliable February 17, 2010 Vitaly Polyakov I use this card with Nikon d300s and compared it with Transcend 133x speed. SanDisk was much more faster when writing in camera and when downloading pictures in computer. This card was worked in camera without errors. But Transcend card have errors and I had to change it. Also SanDisk give CD with licensed data recovery software. It,s absent in another cards that I bought.
SanDisk 8Gb good performer February 1, 2010 gregor A good product that maximizes the capability of the shutter burst speed of my Canon 50D.
