The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet)–suitable for swimming but not for diving. All Timex heart rate monitor sensors have batteries that can be replaced by consumers without requiring them to be returned to the manufacturer.
Product Description: Accept no imitations or limitations. There is only one Timex IRONMAN* Triathlon®. Stylish enough for the weekend warrior, technical enough for the extreme athlete. Don’t swim, bike, run, jump, climb, throw, or kick without one.

Get your heart racing by Victor Kess Watch and monitor worked fine the first time out. I am not a triathlete so I probably don’t stress it as much as some but I do use it when I work out or go running and it gives me the heart rate data that I am looking for. Recommended for the average cross training athlete who doesn’t want to spend $100 for something to tell the time. I have not had any problems with it recognizing the monitor as some have on this list.
good job by Bill from St. Louis this product worked as advertised. I use for heartrate monitoring during cardio exercise. does nice job. haven’t tried any of the other features yet (avg heart rate, etc.) since i don’t need. Overall, I’m satisfied.
Don’t use in the water! by Kuderville Great watch… great heartrate monitor.
Just don’t expect to use it in the water. I clouded up after only 1 swim. I sent it back to Timex… they replaced it, but my new one did the same thing only a few week later when I wore underneeth my leather motorcycle jacket on a warm summer day ride when my sweat did the same thing. Chances are… the button was pushed by my jacket sleeve allowing persperation to leak in.
Very good watch by E. Dougherty Purchased the watch for running.
Positives: heart rate and elapsed time displayed at the same time; nice review feature which gives avg heart rate, peak heart rate, time in heart rate zone, and calories burned; and most importantly, haven’t had a single problem with it–100 percent dependable to date.
Negatives: The out-of-zone alarm. But, there’s an option to turn it off.
No complaints—good watch!
